MURAL PROGESS

We created a mural to display in the window of Beads and Beyond, a local business in downtown Durango, to raise money to plant trees in the spring of 2021. We used theme of cottage core and climate change to raise awareness and give hope to member of the Durango community and tourists.

In the Spring, we will be using the money raised from the GoFundMe and mural to plant Ponderosa Pine seedlings in the 416 fire burn area to promote forest restoration. Planting new trees and working towards reforestation will help the fight to reverse climate change and preserve the environment.
